Our programs follow developmentally appropriate practice and incorporate the NAEYC Early Childhood Program Standards and the State of California Preschool Learning Foundations.  For more information on these practices, please visit:  www.naeyc.org and www.cde.ca.gov

 

At Atascadero Cooperative Preschool, children are given the freedom to explore, create, spill, splash, imagine, tinker, take risks and most important: play….for this is how children learn best!

Preschool 3-4 Program:

  • Open to children age 2.5 by September 1st of the current school year.

  • Meets on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. *This year with a new optional 3rd day on Fridays!

  • Tuition is based on a leveled participation scale. Please see our tuition section for more information.

  • Parents are required to work in the classroom 1-5 times per month as determined by chosen level of participation and class size.

  • Small class size: 12 children max

  • Adult to child ratio is 1:4

Pre-K Program:

  • Open to children age 4 by November 1st of the current school year.

  • Meets on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

  • Tuition is based on a leveled participation scale.  Please see our tuition section for more information.

  • Parents are required to work in the classroom 1-5 times per month as determined by chosen level of participation and class size.

  • Small class size: 15 children max

  • Adult to child ratio is 1:5

*NEW After School Care Program:

  • Open to children 2.5-5 years old

  • Meets Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 12:30 p.m.-5:00 p.m.

  • Price is :$600 per month for 4.5 hrs x 3 days each week   $400 per month for 4.5 hrs x 2 days each week

  •   ** If you need less than full afternoon care, we will adjust price accordingly

  • Small class size: 15 children max

  • Adult to child ration is 1:5
